Arthouse Convergence headed up by Russ Collins kicked off this week and sadly, we missed the explosion of attendees gathered in Utah’s beautiful Heber Valley to discuss the issues facing independent art houses and hear keynote speeches by Leonard Maltin, Betty Siegel, and Ira Duetchman. Chalk it up to a bad cold, too many balls in the air, pre-Sundance crunch time, and not enough new powder… not necessarily in that order. But we will roll onto the Wasatch Mountains by this weekend to report from Sundance 2014 so stay tuned!
