The Dallas Film Society Honors red carpet on Friday, April 7, featured a Dallas Shining Star honoree and her famous mom, this year’s jurors, some late arriving filmmakers, and some filmmakers making one last appearance to soak up the attention of the photographers’ cameras and interviewers’ microphones. DIFF’s college filmmakers, representing The Art Institute of Dallas, Baylor, SMU, UT Arlington, as well as Booker T. Washington High School for Performing and Visual Arts. also led off the procession, making for one fun and diverse red carpet in front of The Highland, as the 2017 Dallas International Film Festival red carpet presentations finished in high style.
